» FroggyWorld Update - 12.14.08, Color System implemented; GM Restored

Well, you might have known that my computer crashed, and I lost the pro version of Game Maker, with no hope of restoring it. Well, I tried reentering the softwrap code for the umpteenth time, and... Whaddya know, it worked!
So I have Pro back and I'm working on my three main game projects: FroggyWorld, Super!, and Jellumz.

I managed to complete the frontward sprites for most of the races, and I've decided to begin working on a system where I insert four frames into a sprite for each character-- each being a spritesheet for color 1 (i.e. body), color 2 (i.e. arms), color 3 (i.e. legs), and colorless (i.e. eyes) which make a full sprite when overlapped.

I put a basic "color mode" into the single-player beta where you can change the colors of the subimages, it's pretty nifty not that you can have a blue/red/yellow frog or a green/white/pink dragonfly

Well, that's just an update for today. I have exams to study for now, but I can assure you that between January and the summer I'll be working on the online engine!

Jellumz is a game where you play as a farmer on an alien planet who works with these blobs from outer space called Jellumz in order to repair the damage their spaceship caused
It's a co-op platformer, like a cross-breed of Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and Harvest Moon

Well I'm glad the game's finally been updated. I thought to fourm was dead!
